Art Science Museum & Cocomelon Cafe

Hello readers! Our first visit to Artscience musuem with Kai! Despite staying indoor most of the time, whenever we went out, he seems pretty fearless and not afraid of any crowd etc. However when we first went in, maybe because it was pretty dark so he wanted me to carry him instead of walking by himself. Haha.

It took him some time before he start walking by himself and exploring.

There were many interactive activity in the museum and big giant balls that kai was v excited trying to pick it up with his little body size. 

After the museum, we went to Cocomelon cafe for lunch!

There was a queue so we waited for our turn to be seated and his papa trying to entertain him so he wouldn't fuss.

Our family photo, i have put so much weight since pregnancy, got to work hard and lose all these extra kilos after birth!

There were cocomelon song playing throughout the restaurant and there was also a play area for the kids.

Kai is not afraid of other kids, instead he join in the fun when we bring him to the play area and will pick up the toys and trying to give to other kids or taking back from them,

Apparently Kai is not a fan of this except fries. so he was looking at his papa for the fries. Haha

I wanted to buy him the big yellow bus toy which is the popular wheel on the bus that he usually watch on youtube but it was oos so can only get him this small little toy. But it was enough to keep him entertained as he hold it all the way as we were heading home.

Staycation at Andaz

 

Hello readers! Our last staycation of the year at Andaz Singapore! This time bringing Kai along with us, he has started to learn how to walk just before he turned 1 year old, so unlike the previous staycation, he is able to walk by himself and explore the place.

The check in at Andaz was pretty easy, we can pre check in via online, there were complimentary drinks serving while waiting to be check in. There is no complimentary parking at Andaz so we park at the nearby outdoor carpark instead. We manage to get a high floor room and this was our view from the room.

We didn't request for a baby cot because we knew Kai will want to sleep with us instead of sleeping in the baby cot. I have tried to put him in the cot in our own house but he would wake up middle of the night fussing to sleep with us. So this king size bed was pretty good for us, i was pretty excited since my stomach is getting bigger and sleeping in the king size bed means there were enough space for all of us.

I didn't manage to book the swimming pool slots in time so it was fully booked, but i have reserve for our afternoon tea time so we headed down to the restaurant for our hi-tea after kai finish his milk.

Cheeky boy was exploring the whole room and likes to go in to the bathroom whenever i try to stop him. haha

Brought him down using his stroller because he is too heavy. Haha

Our hi tea session consist more of savory than sweets this time. Unlike the typical high tea session, they have appetiser follow by serving all the savoury treats and the desserts.

After our high tea session, we decide to chill till evening before heading out as Andaz is located near bugis area. We realise Andaz was well connected to the underground bugis MRT so it was very easy to get around especially for parents who are bringing their kids in the stroller. We went to orchard to check out the christmas light before having our dinner at Saizeriya. I don't really prepare meals for kai when we were out so instead i will choose foods that he can eat, for eg rice, porridge etc.

It was also his first time taking the MRT since he was born, hahah since we are always getting around via car. 

I love his chubby cheeks. Haha below video was the sheltered connected walk way that will bring us back to Andaz. Since it was late when we were heading back so i get Kai to walk by himself. Amusing by his walking style. Still holding his straw as he walk.

Finally it was time for his bedtime. 

The next moment he went to admire the view as we draw the curtains. 

Breaktime time!

After our breakfast, we had some time so it was just chilling before we started to pack for our check out.

He went to put his baby penguin pillow at the side while we was packing. Haha

Overall we enjoyed our stay in Andaz!
