Staycation at Lloyd's Inn

Hello readers, just came back from our staycation at Lloyd's In, before bf travel to Taiwan for his training. We was trying to find the location of the hotel, apparently, it was some walking distance from somerset MRT station, you will have to find the correct exit that led you to the stretch of shops along the way before reaching the Lloyd's Inn. We didn't actually swim in this pool because it looks kinda small.

Proceeded to check in and bf booked the skyroom type because i preferred that room type with high ceiling!

Check out the staircase in the room!

The staircase will lead you up to the working desk area, but i realised the photo i take is too blurry so i shall not post here.
We went to check out the bathroom area, and this bathtub is so far one of the best bathtub that i like because it's big!

The shower area is separate from the bathtub. Our room was at the ground floor so when i was soaking in the bathtub, we could actually hear noise coming from upstairs,

Personally, i would think this place would suit business travellers who are looking to have some quiet time apart from having to attend meeting in the CBD district. Plenty of peaceful times especially at night. The bed must have been so comfortable that bf fall asleep not long after we check in and rest! I woke him up in the evening when i was watching the tv because i was hungry and wanted to head out for dinner.

I was craving for some tomyum soup so in the end we decided to have thai cuisine!
We choose a ala carte buffet which cost $22.90 but min of 2 pax, and additional of $3.99 for free flow of drinks, the bill was $60++ but i think we didn't really eat alot.

I think i was too hungry that i forgot to take the food photos! Overall, it was a nice dining experience but i think we would probably stick to eating just ala carte because i don't eat so much and it would be quite wasted. There was a nearby NTUC supermarket after our dinner and we went to buy some snacks back to our room while watching the movies available in the channels they have.

It cost about $268 (w/gst) for this staycation which i guess it's pretty cheap compared to those that we used to paid for $300++ Overall, i think it would be a good experience to have your staycation at Lloyds inn but it would be even better if there are activities provided in the hotel.

Till then!
