Hello readers! So here's a post of me updating my staycation in JB again!
Well, so it was pretty random when i was chatting with Jessica, Selina when we decided to organise a JB trip to do our hairdo. I am no stranger to doing my hair in JB now, in fact i went in often to do my hair because it is so cheap! Each session usually cost less than $100 or slightly more than $100 for my hair length to dye, trim and hair treatment.
Somehow, they were worried that it will be too rush so we decided to stay one night in JB instead.
As i have stayed before in Trove, i thought it's not bad to stay with them again since the rate is pretty cheap and since it's a 5min drive to KSL, and we was going to do our hair in KSL. I ask JY to help us buy the two way train tickets so we don't have to squeeze with others when we enter JB and on our way back.
It was also a last min decision when Alissa decided to join us too, as it was her first time meeting them, and was still new to them so she didn't stay for the night.
First stop was to have lunch at the Pelangi, Warakuya japanese restaurant. It was the nearest from Komtar.
We wanted to check in to the hotel first but the room was not ready so we left our stuffs at their concierge before heading to KSL.
There are many hair salons in KSL, and based on my previous encounter, i realise salons that is located near the escalator charge slightly higher than other salons that might be located at the corner. And i notice the hair color doesn't last long so this time we went to another salon called Cheveux 9 nail and hair salon as we find their price is quite reasonable. It was also the first time i wanted to try the k gloss treatment that usually cost few hundred if you were to do in Singapore.
After about 4 hours, we are finally done with our hairdo! A collage of our 4 individual hairstyle. Hahaha the kgloss treatment is magic!
A demonstration by Alissa to see the k gloss after effect.
We didn't have much time for dinner because it was close to 8pm by the time we all were done, so i accompany Alissa back to city square to send her off to take the train before i cab back to the hotel.
But to my surprise, our room was not ready, by then i think it was already 8plus in the night. Apparently no one clean the room and there were no available rooms. The manager apologise and ask for some time, because it was very clear i am not happy having to wait for our room to be ready when it should be ready long time ago.
The manager explain to give them about 30min for them to clean so i was looking at my watch and making sure they will only take another 30min to clean. I think the manager know if they are unable to clean by the time he told me, they are going to be in for a hard time from me.
Eventually the manager decided to upgrade us to the suite room as a form of apology.
Since Selina & Jess have not reached, so he escort me to check in to the suite room. As there were 3 of us, the manager assured they will send the roll away bed to the room after that.
It was a pretty big room, there's the dining area + living rm area follow by the bedroom and the bathroom.
Overall, they did some service recovery so we get to stay in the suite room for the night!
As we didn't had dinner, so after meeting them back in the hotel, we decided to grab back to city square to see what we can buy, ended up having Macdonalds because it's the only shop that was still open before we went to sing KTV!
Overall, it was a pretty enjoyable trip except there were some disagreements between Selina & Jess when we were returning back to Singapore by the train. We managed to sort it out and all peace.
Shall end this post for now.
Till then!
