Went out with JJ and JY to celebrate their 22th birthday!
On a separate day even though their birthday falls on the same month.
We went to watch a movie and having dinner for JY as it was a weekday,
we decided to watch a movie titled "Sifu vs Vampire" at west mall.
It was a comedy movie! The cinema theatre looks so new compared to the one in woodlands!
After our movie, we went to Bali Thai for dinner!
I love thai food, tom yum is one of my must have dishes when i had thai food!
We choose their buffet menu, these are served only once but she couldn't finish it and was sharing with us!
we spend our dinner on catching up again!
For JJ birthday's celebration, initial plan was to go to Wild Wild Wet on a weekdays to avoid the crowds, but it has been raining everyday so we had to cancel this plan.
JJ suggested meeting at yishun to decide what we want to do, it was a very impromptu decision because we only decide where to go on the day itself.
We went to had laksa for lunch as there is one popular laksa stall near the yishun bus interchange.
JJ find that this stall laksa is even better than the famous katong laksa!
After our lunch, we went for bowling at yishun safra.
we walked pass KTPH, and saw this hopscoth!
we spend our dinner on catching up again!

We change to playing pool as we had to wait until 5pm before we could play bowling.
It has been quite long since we played together!
I remember there was one occasion during our schooling in RP, we managed to finish our presentation slides earlier so we went to woodland checkpoint during the lunch time to play!
After playing pool, we went back to bowling!
Jieying brought her selfie monopod, and we was taking some wefie before playing! HAHA

6 years of friendship and still going strong!
we were posing with these teddy bears as one day, i was cleaning my room, and i realised i had too many soft toys, and i know that JY love teddy bears, when i am not actually a fan of it but i do receive these as my birthday presents in the past, so i took a snapshot asking her to choose, so she choose these two! HAHA
i went to get these teddy bear washed before passing to her!
i cannot remember this teddy bear is given by who, its quite cute but i thought its pointless if i were to keep it in the box because i have selected soft toys that is sleeping with me already on the bed,and they are already filling up half of my bed.
After our bowling session, we went for our dinner!
initially i thought of going to sembawang shopping centre because i know there used to be a steamboat restaurant located in basement, but my information is all outdated because it has been so long since i went there and it has already closed down!
it was already raining when we was leaving safra yishun, thank god both JJ and me brought umbrella and i was sharing w JY while JJ was protecting the teddy bears from the rain! HAHA
there was nothing much to eat at SSC, so in the end we thought of going opposite as there was some shops that looks like kopitiam etc, and see what we could find!
so just opposite the ssc, we saw this JJ Thai Cuisine, it look decent enough, clean and most most importantly, there is NO GST or service Charge!
i am not sure if its newly opened, but the dishes is all damm cheap!
one bowl of tom yum soup for just $6?!
i can't rmb if the phad thai is just $6 or $8! but this is damm cheap compared to eating at a thai restaurant!
so we was looking at the menu outside, initially we thought we need to wait to be seated, but actually we realised we can just walk in! HAHA
there are also mookata too! for $39.90 but we tried ala carte dishes!
we ordered tom yum soup, clear, seafood and chicken, seafood taste nicer!
Then we have the minced pork, phai thai cooked w glass noodles, kang kong cooked with sambals, and honey chicken w cashew nuts! it was damm yummeh! HAHA
all these plus 2 thai ice tea and green tea only cost $41!
its super cheap in my opinion la, and i definitely will return again!
i am spreading the word around to visit this affordable thai food! Apparently they have another outlet at bukit merah! they have a fb and website, so you can google JJ thai cuisine if you want to know more about it!
Generally the food is served very fast too even though there were alot of customers at the same time!
anyone who is interested, i don't know any other buses except 858 that you can take and alight when you see sembawang shopping centre, this restaurant is located opposite the ssc, which mean you need to cross the road if you are at the ssc, and turning to a small road where the cars will turn in and you will be able to see it on the right, it is very distinctive and impossible not to be able to see this restaurant! HAHA
and so that pretty much summarise our day full of fun, joy, laughter without having to go all the way to town! HAHA, i really hate to go to town nowsdays unless necessary because its always the same old place, or maybe because i have went to town for so many times, there's nothing much to do unless you are filthy rich to be able to buy all those branded stuffs and i am soso sick of it! and the travelling distance :(
