Staycation at Conrad hotel

Hello readers! Since we can't travel overseas due to Covid, this marks our first staycation at Conrad hotel for the year 2021! I was still contemplating whether to bring Jayrius for his first staycation. Initially i have inform the hotel staff to prepare extra baby cot but my parents told us to just go enjoy ourselves instead of bringing him so we went without him. Haha

We got a pretty high floor and the view of the suntec fountain of wealth. 

I was pretty amazed at the room because i thought Conrad hotel was quite old and the room should be normal, but i think they did some renovation and their room are huge and comfortable when we enter!

They have prepare the baby cot and put in the room in advance too.

The bathroom was pretty huge too and i love those that comes with bathtub!

After we checked in, we went to suntec for lunch, it was a good location as it was pretty accessible to Suntec city.

As we have to book a timing for swimming, so we went back to the hotel for our evening swim. Not much people, and the pool was just normal. Haha

Went back to suntec for dinner and had monster curry before we went back to the room to rest.

My bathtub soak time with the new bath bomb that i bought! Haha

Our package includes breakfast for two and it was a different way from the usual buffet breakfast where you can walk around and take what you want, so we was told to scan and order via the QR code and request the items before the staff will serve it to us. 

The pros is that the food will be plated nicely before serving unlike the past when it is buffet style.

The cons is that, you may have to keep ordering via the QR scan and wait for the staff to prepare and give it to you. But overall, i think it was still a good staycation experience for us with Conrad hotel despite all the covid distancing measures or restrictions.

SEA Aquarium

 

Jayrius on the sofa before we set off to Sentosa!

Hello readers! Due to Covid, we have been staying indoors and since the situation seems to stablise, we wanted to make use of the SG discover voucher to visit some of the Singapore attraction, first one was the SEA aquarium! Before Covid, i was more interested in exploring overseas attractions but since we can't travel, this was a good opportunity for us to explore and check out singapore attractions too.

It was also my mum and Jayrius aka kai first attraction outing! 

My sis and bil came together with us on this trip, my dad was working so he didnt join us, but then he was never a fan of visiting the attractions so yea we went ahead without him.

His papa carrying him to check out the fishes, but i think he is still too young to know. Haha

Most of the time we push him in his stroller and he was looking v zen. Haha

The place looks pretty deserted, unlike the pre-covid where usually Sentosa is so crowded with tourist, which you can see from this background of the USS that my mum took together with Kai.

We went on a saturday somemore!

We went to have dian xiao er for our dinner at Vivo before heading home.

It was a pretty fun and enjoyable day as Kai didn't fuss and at least my mum get to go out and enjoy some breather instead of staying home most of the time.
