Tokyo - The most relaxing day of our Japan trip

Hello readers! As i was not feeling well, had been coughing during the night, so we slept in and only left our apartment just in time for lunch.
Instead of the usual dining arrangement that you get when you entered a restaurant, we were seated in this circular table setting, i thought this were efficient because the server can clear the area fast when customers has left and simply serve the food to new customers waiting for the foods.
They don't even have to handle cash as we order through the machine and pass the ticket to the staff.

After our lunch, we were exploring around shinjuku kabukicho area as Jeremy was just telling me the night before that it was a red light district and i haven't seen it for myself. Hahaha. We could explore better during daytime as the crowd was lesser and the party will only start at night. Huge billboard and mv throughout some of the buildings.

Burger king in Japan sold chocolate pie! So we went in to buy one and try.

This is good though i am not sure if it's a seasonal item on their menu.
We didn't had a fixed itinerary as i was not feeling well and doesn't want to go anywhere far and that's when Jeremy suggested to visit this store that sells this slimming device that he saw in the tv advertisement back in Kyoto and it seems convincing enough. I can't remember the name of the slimming device now, but Japan is well-known for their technology invention so it was random as i leave it to him to find the place and i am glad to be just the follower for the day. But, it turns out that he doesn't have much research skills because we ended up at the headquarter office instead of the merchandise store. We took the train, change here and there as we were reaching to the building, it makes me feel that we are not at the right place because the surrounding seems like residential and commercial building. Eventually we reached the main office but we couldn't get in because only staff can access with their card. We were lucky that the ladies who work in the office were returning back and i approached them asking if we can purchase the device by showing the product in my phone. They couldn't converse well in English, maybe a few sentences but were helpful by writing for us the address that we could get this product.

So, with the correct address and using GPS, we were on our way to the right departmental store. I do dread changing line in Japan because the distance is always so far! We saw this booth and it caught Jeremy attention first. It was a lottery ticket that you can purchase and try your luck by scratching the 9 boxes on the card.

Hahaha, gambling has no language barrier as he try to ask the staff how to purchase the ticket. He bought one and we went to the side as he scratch the card before he went back to the staff and the staff told him that he has won something! Haha, he won back his capital that he used to purchase the card. Beginner's luck i guess.
Eventually, i did not purchase the slimming device because when i was just trying it on my hand, i feel there were some electric shock current passing through, so i quickly put it back to the shelves. Haha. We did some window shopping as most of the items is not cheap either before deciding to head back early to our apartment to rest and to decide where to go for our next day.

Shall end this post with a photo of this strawberry sandwich that i like!
Till then.
